what is the worst possible thing that could happen
Taking on a new account
Taking on a new territory
Calling a prospect that has historically been unreceptive
Having a conversation
Getting hung up on
Getting told to go f*ck yourself
Asking for a promotion
Asking a stupid question
the list goes on here
give yourself an example of anything and ask yourself what’s the worst thing that can happen
Here’s a few
New account: Learn about a new company
New territory: learn about a new industry
/ territory
Prospect that is unreceptive: learn why, switch your approach and potentially convert them
Conversation: learn something about that person
Getting hung up on: you’re back where you were 5 seconds ago, and you learn where to prioritize time
go f*ck yourself: learn which prospect you should call every day for the next year to spite them
asking for a promotion: a no. BUT you can learn more about career path and what you need to get there
Stupid question: you learn something
Common themes here?
you learn something
know where to prioritize / deprioritize time
